Planning Services is responsible for the provision of planning and research services to local, state, and federal agencies, as well as to private sector clients. A multi-disciplinary professional staff addresses a wide-ranging work program. The tasks performed aid individual communities and the region as a whole by ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements and by identifying efficient solutions to community-development issues. While partially supported by federal and state grants, the majority of the Division's work is contractual.
