The Willamette Valley Livability Forum is a gathering of people seeking to clarify choices about the future of Oregon's Willamette Valley. Created by Governor John Kitzhaber in December 1996, the Forum's charge is to:
  •  Help residents understand their Valley
  •  Develop a 50-year vision for the Valley's future
  •  Enable wise decision making
  •  Build partnerships to maintain and improve livability

The Forum has over 80 members who reflect diverse sets of interests throughout the Valley. The Forum is led by an executive-level Advisory Board and advised by a Resource Group.
